Vinyl is back — and a growing record collection deserves more than a milk crate on the floor. The right piece keeps your records safe, your turntable steady and your favourite sleeves within easy reach. Here is how we think about vinyl storage, and the plywood pieces we build for it.
What good vinyl storage actually needs
Records are heavier and fussier than books. A few simple rules make all the difference:
Store them upright. Records leaning at an angle — or stacked flat — warp over time. Vertical dividers keep each sleeve straight.
Leave room to flip. A bay packed solid is a bay you never browse. A little breathing space keeps the collection usable.
Give the turntable a steady top. A solid, level surface reduces vibration and skipping — especially with a heavier deck.
Mind the weight. A full LP bay is surprisingly heavy. Honest joinery and a proper frame matter.
Keep it at the right height. Cueing a record and reading spines is nicer at the correct height than crouching on the floor.

A plywood record credenza keeps the turntable up top, records upright below, and everyday clutter behind a door.
Our vinyl storage, by collection size
Every piece is made from premium birch plywood, with our signature curved handles and a choice of hand-oiled finishes.
Vinyl Record Credenza · 143 cm — our biggest dedicated record piece. Wide vinyl bays plus a closed cabinet and a generous top for a turntable and amp. Built for a serious, growing collection.
Maxi Vinyl Record Bookcase · 190 cm — goes vertical when floor space is tight: record storage below, open display shelving above, all in one tall statement wall.
Mini Bookcase with vinyl · 90 cm — compact and flexible. A turntable on top, records below, and just enough room for the essentials. Perfect for a smaller room or a second listening spot.

Vertical dividers keep every sleeve straight — and make browsing the collection effortless.
Built around your turntable
No two setups are the same. A vintage receiver, a modern deck, a subwoofer that needs its own shelf — the proportions matter. We regularly adjust shelf placement to fit specific components: send us the heights of your gear (or a quick sketch) and we will set the shelves exactly where they need to be.
Real setups, real homes
See how music lovers around the world put these pieces to work:
A record player stand near Copenhagen — a Mini bookcase with a custom shelf layout, built around a vintage Bang & Olufsen turntable.
A full AV corner in Austin, TX — a modular plywood system combining vinyl, TV and audio gear.
An audio cabinet in Santa Monica — a sideboard adapted to hold a vintage tuner and vinyl accessories.
Finish & customisation
Choose from 11 hand-oiled finishes — from natural birch and warm walnut to the deep black shown here — so your record storage sits naturally beside the rest of your room. Every piece ships flat-packed and assembles without special tools.
